Coincidentally, this game was one of two major DFW vs. St. Louis sporting events taking place in Arlington on that day, as the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and St. Migraine Medications Louis Rams had played at nearby Cowboys Stadium that afternoon; during the opening coin toss, Berkman and Hamilton, in uniform, had each served as honorary captains for their city’s team.

Schiradli evaded further trouble, but as he walked off the mound the damage was done: The save was blown and the game was tied 3-3 going into the ninth.
Joe Buck’s call of “…we will see you tomorrow night!” on David Freese’s walk-off home run echoed his father Jack’s call of Kirby Puckett’s walk-off home run from Game 6 of the 1991 World Series, occurring 20 years and a day apart from each other, given the similar situations: Game 6, 11th inning, first batter of the final inning, and breaking a 3–3 tie to win the game 4–3, and extend the series to a 7th game.
Of the last 13 instances in which a Major League team won a Game 6 at home to force a Game 7 in the postseason, all but two went on to win Game 7. The exceptions were the New York Mets in the 2006 NLCS against, coincidentally, the Cardinals; and the Boston Red Sox in the 1975 World Series against the Cincinnati Reds.
Star wars open world game
The open world segments have a few breadcrumbs and intel here and there, but I do think the culmination of the open world design mastered by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is evident here. Take a path towards your objective but if you get distracted and something catches your eye go for it!
It helps that it all meaningfully ties back into some of your central rewards, too. Remember how I got free access to the Pyke base after warning Gorak of that betrayal? An hour later, I was sneaking through a Pyke outpost trying to steal an equipment upgrade, but I got caught and had to shoot my way out. Suddenly, my reputation with the syndicate was shot and I was no longer welcome in their territory, which would inevitably make future dealings with the Pykes even trickier.

A reasonable comparison might be the later Saints Row games, which are also open-world games full of repetitive activities. The big difference is that Outlaws’ missions don’t have the same panache or bombast that keep Saints Row this side of stale; instead of “this time, kill the pedestrians with a dubstep cannon,” Kay is left to do the same things in the same ways with the same tools, over and over again. Worse, some activities are, frankly, overdesigned. An extended five-minute quick-time event to eat corn on the cob is just excessive, but it’s there!

In fact, Smallworld is this sort of game that has a great balance between lots of fun with enough thinkiness if you want it. It’s also relatively quick to play and therefore a great game to play as a warm-up or cool-down during a game night. There are also plenty of expansions, adding more factions and other mechanisms, but the base game alone should keep you busy for quite some time to come.
